If you are not a Sharp Rees-Stealy patient, we offer several options for accessing weight loss care.
Weight loss counseling: Contact the Weight Loss Program at Sharp Coronado Hospital at 619-522-3798. Please note this is a cash-pay service and not eligible for insurance coverage at this time.
Weight loss medications: Contact Sharp Coronado Hospital Care Clinic at 619-522-7118. Our team can help determine whether weight loss medications are right for you and whether treatments are covered by your insurance. Cash-pay options are also available.
Endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG): Find a physician who specializes in ESG or call 1-800-82-SHARP (1-800-827-4277), Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm.
Bariatric surgery: Sharp is proud to offer a nationally accredited bariatric program at Sharp Coronado Hospital and Sharp Memorial Hospital. Search for a Sharp-affiliated bariatric surgeon or call 1-800-82-SHARP (1-800-827-4277), Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm.
Some insurance plans may cover weight loss medications or bariatric surgery if you meet the plan’s criteria. Our team can help you determine whether your treatments are covered. We also offer cash pay options.
Please note that insurance is not accepted at this time for weight loss counseling services at Sharp Coronado Hospital.
