Joint Notice of Privacy Practices
The Sharp HealthCare Affiliated Covered Entity (ACE) maintains two Notices of Privacy Practices to align with the varying functions of its entities under the HIPAA regulations. One of these is shared among entities within the ACE or affiliated with it through Organized Health Care Arrangements (OHCAs) that are primarily engaged in treatment-related functions. The other is specific to Sharp Health Plan, which primarily engages in payment-related functions.
The entities included in the Sharp ACE and its related OHCA arrangements are as follows:

Sharp Health Plan Corporation (d/b/a Sharp Health Plan),
Sharp HealthCare (d/b/a/ Sharp Rees-Stealy Clinics and SharpCare), and
Sharp Memorial Hospital Corporation (d/b/a Sharp Memorial Hospital, Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital, Sharp McDonald Center, Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Newborns, and Sharp Home Health)
Tri-City Medical Center Corporation (d/b/a Sharp Tri-City Medical Center)
